Welcome to HangRr

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HangRr mobile application and web platform ("App," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using HangRr, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HangRr, you agree to:

• Be bound by these Terms of Service
• Comply with our Privacy Policy
• Follow our Community Guidelines
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

2. Eligibility

To use HangRr, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• Not have been previously banned from HangRr

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Creation and Security

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Types

• Free Account: Basic features and limited AI credits
• Premium Account: Additional features and increased AI credits (if applicable)

Prohibited Account Activities

You may NOT:

• Create multiple accounts for yourself
• Share your account with others
• Use someone else's account without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Buy, sell, or transfer your account

4. User Content and Conduct

Your Content

When you upload photos, create a profile, or post content, you:

• Retain ownership of your content
• Grant HangRr a license to use, store, display, and analyze your content to provide the Service
• Represent that you have the right to share the content
• Agree that AI may analyze your content for styling and recommendations

Prohibited Content

You may NOT post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or violates rights of others
• Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or pornography
• Promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination
• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Contains spam, malware, or viruses
• Misrepresents your identity or affiliation

Prohibited Conduct

You may NOT:

• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
• Scrape, copy, or collect user data
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access source code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use bots, scripts, or automation tools
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other accounts

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Review, monitor, or remove content at any time
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Report illegal activity to law enforcement
• Use AI and manual review to moderate content

5. AI Features and Credits

AI Style Analysis

• HangRr uses AI (powered by OpenAI) to analyze your fashion style from photos
• AI provides style tags, recommendations, and outfit suggestions
• AI analysis may not be 100% accurate and is for entertainment/guidance purposes

Claire AI Assistant

• Claire is an AI chatbot that provides fashion advice and styling tips
• Claire's advice is AI-generated and should not be considered professional styling advice
• Conversations with Claire are analyzed to improve the service

AI Credits System

• Free users receive a limited number of AI credits per month
• Credits are used for style analysis, outfit generation, and Claire conversations
• Credits reset monthly or can be purchased (if premium features are available)
• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value

6. Wardrobe and Outfit Features

Digital Wardrobe

• You can upload photos of your clothing items to create a digital wardrobe
• Your wardrobe is private unless you choose to share items
• You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of wardrobe photos

AI Outfit Generation

• HangRr can generate outfit combinations from your wardrobe items
• Outfit suggestions are AI-generated and may not suit all occasions or preferences
• We are not responsible for fashion choices made based on AI recommendations

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Service

HangRr is free to use with basic features. Free users receive limited AI credits monthly (1 credit per month).

Subscription Plans

HangRr offers optional paid subscription plans with enhanced features:

Auto-Renewal Terms

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

1. Payment: Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account (iOS) or Google Play Account (Android) at the time of purchase confirmation.
2. Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
3. Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the subscription price in effect at the time of renewal.
4. Managing Subscriptions:
   • iOS: Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions to manage or cancel
   • Android: Go to Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions to manage or cancel
   • Web: Use the "Manage Subscription" option in your account settings
5. Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be given for any unused portion of a subscription period.
6. Free Trials: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
7. Price Changes: Prices are subject to change. We will notify you of price changes before they take effect.

In-App Purchases

• Credits can be purchased as one-time in-app purchases
• Credit purchases are non-refundable except as required by law
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred

Refunds

• For subscription refunds on iOS, contact Apple Support
• For subscription refunds on Android, contact Google Play Support
• We cannot process refunds for purchases made through app stores

8. Intellectual Property

HangRr's Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, code, algorithms, AI models, style analysis technology, trademarks, and branding are owned by HangRr and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Download the App on your mobile device
• Use features as intended in these Terms

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App
• Remove or alter proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App for commercial purposes without our written permission

User-Generated Content License

By uploading content to HangRr, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and analyze your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service, including using AI to analyze fashion styles and preferences.

This license ends when you delete your content or account, except for content shared with other users (which they may still have) and anonymized data used for analytics.

9. Third-Party Services

HangRr integrates with third-party services:

• Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In for authentication
• OpenAI for AI style analysis and chat features
• Cloud storage for photo storage
• Analytics services for app improvement

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

"AS IS" Service

HangRr is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service, and security or freedom from errors or viruses.

No Professional Advice

• HangRr is not a professional styling or fashion consultation service
• AI recommendations are for entertainment and guidance only
• We are not responsible for fashion decisions or purchases based on our suggestions

No Guaranteed Results

• We do not guarantee specific styling outcomes
• AI analysis may vary in accuracy
• Results depend on the quality and completeness of your wardrobe data

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• HangRr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $100 if you haven't paid anything)
• We are not liable for third-party actions, content, or services

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for incidental damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HangRr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of another user or third party, or content you post or share on the App.

13. Termination

Your Right to Terminate

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion:

• Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
• You lose access to all content and features
• Some data may be retained if required by law

Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your account is inactive for an extended period
• Required by law or legal process

We may also terminate the Service entirely with notice.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, you must stop using the App. Licenses granted to you are revoked. Provisions that should survive termination (liability, disputes) remain in effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App, updating the "Last Updated" date, and sending an in-app notification or email.

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

15. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration Agreement

You and HangRr agree that any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except for small claims court disputes, intellectual property disputes, and injunctive or equitable relief.

Arbitration will be conducted by a neutral arbitrator in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

Class Action Waiver

You and HangRr agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and HangRr.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Be Respectful

• Treat all users with kindness and respect
• Respect boundaries and consent
• Celebrate diversity in fashion and personal style

Be Authentic

• Use real photos of yourself and your wardrobe
• Represent your true style preferences
• Don't catfish or mislead others

Be Safe

• Protect your personal information
• Report suspicious activity or users
• Meet new connections in public if meeting offline
• Trust your instincts

Be Responsible

• Follow all laws and regulations
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Don't spam or abuse features
• Use AI features responsibly
